Description
Supima cotton has been grown in the United States since 1954, mostly in the San Joaquin Valley (CA).The name Supima refers to Superior pima cotton due to its extra long staple, which is 35% longer than regular cotton and 20% longer than Egyptian cotton. This makes it 45% stronger and more durable than regular cotton. Complementing the pima cotton is Tencel, a natural fibre made from wood pulp, that is completely biodegradable, making it an eco friendly option. These combined fibres produce a fabric that outstanding performance in hot temperatures and a super soft handle. To top it off it is softer than silk, more absorbent than cotton and cooler than linen.
